CYSL Meeting Notes Aug 13, 2009

 

Zero tolerance policy

  • was revised and accepted unanimously in its revised form 
  • final copy will be emailed
  • towns may post to website, post at fields, email to parents, require parent signature, etc.
  • There was discussion about how to handle a situation in which a referee is repeatedly making an incorrect call (offsides, goal kick over midline, etc).  Coach will politely address ref at halftime.  If referee persists in incorrect call, a letter should be written to referee coordinator of town, with a copy to league.

 

Dick Warren

  • final team numbers due Aug 15 ($25 fine after that)
  • get coach and coordinator info in to Dick immediately
  • game schedule should be out by Aug 31, but could be Sept 4 if towns are late getting info in
  • fees for fall season are $10 per club, plus an additional $10 for each team registered

 

additional fall season info

  • make sure database into MYSA before first game
  • rosters must be signed by local registrar or president
  • if borrowing players to fill out a team, coach must provide the roster on which the substitute player appears to prove eligibility and registration
  • no handwritten names on rosters should be accepted

Monday, Nov. 2          Review Constitution, by-laws and game rules

Monday, Dec 7           Optimistic estimate of U10,U12 and U14 with best guess on U16 to U19.  Sections by age group developed from these numbers.

                                    Association and available coaches information

Monday Jan 4             Firm numbers on all teams.  Payment based on this number.  Adds after this point to replace byes.  Decision on combining High School age groups. U10 to U14 coaches info.
